A new step to go with the new clear green nocks - stain the back couple inches early so it's the right colour under the nock, and so I don't paint over the nocks which I tend to do. As I still have pints of the stuff, I'm sticking with a nice merry black. It's fun watching the double-takes as people wonder if they're carbons...
