Five fruit trees were planted on the green opposite Banbury Drive on Monday 2nd February by Trafford MBC, on one of the coldest days of the year. If we are lucky, we may one day be able to pick our own apples, pears and plums from the field. It is also hoped that the fruit trees will also prove a valuable food source for the local wildlife.

In addition to those near Banbury, three fruit trees were also installed in the butterfly garden. And as if our cup was not overflowing enough already, two willows were planted along the brook.

The council's hard work is of course much appreciated!
