| NOTES | The gunners are cross-trained as part of the survey team. Also included in this is the humaniform robot, who is programmed as a primitive culture contact specialist. Having the advantage of an internally fitted translator unit, the robot can easilly infiltrate and study the most paranoid of cultures, without risking a human life. Note that the Scouts don't go out of their way to emphasize this facet of their operations, due to the dangers of the Frankenstein complex. The other robots are used as appropriate to the situation. The G-Carriers are fitted with Planetary meson communicators, allowing perfect commo between ship and surface parties. There is technically room for 4 passengers on the ship; in fact, the extra staterooms soon get utilised for extra storage, rec rooms and even (against regulations) extra spec cargoes. |
