| NOTES | The Lincoln class troop lander is a standarised, lower tech small craft designed to deliver a platoon of troops and all their equipment to the surface of a planet as quickly and safely as possible. The craft will fit into a standard capital ship launch tube, and can carry several combinations: up to 50 combat-ready troops; one 10-ton APC vehicle and its load of troops; or two 10-ton AFVs and their crews. The craft is heavilly armored, allowing it to withstand attack from smaller system defence vessels; but its main defence is speed and agility. |
