| NOTES | The Doarba is a light destroyer escort, primarily intended to travel with a fleet of captial ships of cruiser tonnage or more as a screen against smaller opponents. In line-of-battle situations, this kind of vessel is usually matched against scout squadrons, with predictable results. Its' secondary function is escorting civilian merchant shipping in difficult areas. Most corsair groups cannot cope with even one of these ships - and the Daorba's fast drives make it unlikely that a pirate could escape once spotted. This ship carries full psionic shielding. |
