The Repo Boys Campaign - Player Introduction

Background

The Imperial Megacorporation Hortalez et Cie, possibly the biggest financial institution in known Space, funds 99% of the starship construction that takes place in the great shipyards of the Glisten asteroid belt in the Glisten subsector of the Spinward Marches.

ClawBack LIC is a wholly owned subsidiary of HeC, created to attempt to reduce the losses incurred by the financial giant from "skipping", the practice of buying a starship with finance and then disappearing rather than make the (often huge) monthly payments. ClawBack recruits and fields teams of agents responsible for tracking down these "stolen" ships, repossessing them from the current holders, and returning them to the possession of other factors of HeC for resale against the outstanding debts.

These agents are generally known as "The Repo Boys".

Damage to the property to be repossessed is strongly discouraged. Damage to the unlawful holders of the property is a matter of moderately large quantities of paperwork and a wigging from the boss.

Your characters comprise a Repo Team employed by ClawBack LIC for this difficult, dangerous and exciting work.
