Thorbad Dreng

Stark white, shoulder length hair and almost colourless grey eyes. Light build. 47 years old.
Known equipment: Ship coveralls, rifle ??possibly an ACR.
Home address: Flat 15, Gray block, Vertier flats, Snelheid, Mora/Mora/Spinward Marches. This rented address has been checked by the police on Mora and found deserted.
Business address: Drengship LIC, 32 Neuimann St, Mancisburg, Mora/Mora/Spinward Marches. This address has been discovered to refer to a d-fuel filling station that burned down in 1097.

 


Dreng was a career officer with Ayor Lines, based out of Rhylanor, for 7 terms, during which he reached the rank of Third Officer. Repeatedly passed over for further promotion, he was noted as having a serious chip on his shoulder vis-a-vis his Darrian origins, apparently believing this to be why he was not made a Captain. After his resignation he disappeared from view, surfacing on Glisten as a partner in the nebulous Drengship LIC.
He was one of the three people who traded with the gun dealer on Wurzburg whose memories Dliiavrnt later siphoned.

 

Holly Hyde

Red, crew cut length, naturally waved hair and light brown eyes. 31 years old.

A young scout pilot, disillusioned by the poor pay in the scouts, she signed on to the Akhashuaa for travel, thrills and better bucks. By and large, she's got what she wanted, but the dubious practices of the captain and the approach of some of the crew are beginning to worry her. She's terrified of Ramona Lasky.

 

Betty Marlor

Dark brown, shoulder length, naturally waved hair and light brown eyes. Short and solid. Age 39.
Known equipment: Ballistic cloth ship coveralls, submachinegun.

Little is available on Marlor's early career, but she seemes to have served on free traders for most of it. Witnesses who have encountered her describe her as "a hard case", quiet, but tough and competent.

Vladimir Naisby

Shaved head and blue eyes, large moustache. 35 years old.

Naisby was a brilliant car mechanic with a strong hacking hobby which eventually landed him in trouble. Caught hacking into the local tax office to cut his tax bills, he fled his homeworld, changed his name, and signed on with the Akhashuua. His starship engineering skills are not brilliant, but combining his mechanical brilliance with a determined attempt to mug up through the manuals has enabled him to keep things going.

 

Morris Horton

Morris was a crewer on a Donosev scout, but preferred shooting things - and people - to exploring and surveying, and especially cooking which he hates although he's good at it.

 

Kirk Majors

Dark brown, collar length, loose curled hair and grey eyes, age 45. Quick and weaselly appearance.

Majors was flung out of the Imperial Navy with the rank of CPO in 1102 after being involved on the fringes of a scam to sell a Naval auxiliary vessel to no fewer than three buyers at the same time. He apparently bummed around on Glisten for a while before meeting Thorbad Dreng and joining the three-way partnership that became Drengship LIC.

 

Egan Doyle

Dark brown, shoulder length, naturally waved hair and green eyes. Age 30.

Doyle is an expert at blowing things up, and is the only member of the crew trained in the use of battledress. He has a carefully-maintained suit which he will not lend, but is willing to use in order to project strength in difficult trading situations.
One of the cargo loaders on Sorel remembered a man in combat armour with a gausspistol.

 

Veronica Crowley

Blonde, floor length, loose curled hair and green eyes. Age 43.

A fusion gunner, trained in vehicle-mounted fusion weapons but now using those skills with an FGMP-14. Married to Graine Poulter.

 

Ramona Lasky
