In the years after the Return, Dilthal's experience and knowledge has grown, partly due to him coming into contact with the shorter-lived but more dynamic races of Alair. A master magesmith in his own right, his work begins to rival that of his father.
He lives in Belegond, partly because of his human wife Yomiko of Rokugan. Their half-elven sons Thirkic and Alric are approaching their maturity by 1655 and preparing to venture into the wider world.
